Koh Phangan Ferry Companies
Lompraya Ferry – Also call the “speedboat” ferry, Lompraya has a well maintained fleet of Catamaran ferries that run a few times daily and only during daylight hours. This is the slightly more expensive but fastest ferry option. Pickup from and to the hotel can be arranged.
Seatran Discovery Ferry – Another fleet of “high speed ferries” A good choice with a similar speed and price to the Lompraya.
Raja Ferry – Raja ferries leave from Donsak’s pier which is about 70 kilometres south of Suratthani on the mainland (about 1 bus hour) for the port of Lipanoi in Koh Samui, or direct to Koh Phangan, these are large ferries which carrie vehicles and supplies to and from the mainland and serve as the main line for supplies to Koh Phangan. Raja ferry has the earliest departure times from Koh Phangan and is the latest arrival as well. The most economical choice when on foot, and the only one you can board with cars or any other kind of vehicle.
Songserm – A bit less speed and a bit less price than the speedboats, but reliable to ferry between islands in the Gulf of Thailand.
Haadrin Queen – From Koh Samui’s Buddha pier (closest one to the airport) to Koh Phangan’s Haad Rin Pier, this one takes you direct to the center of the Full Moon Party area, Haad Rin.
